The Halford Hewitt Tournament
I cannot stress too strongly the importance of this annual tournament. There are 64 public schools who compete each year and the publicity for the school is paramount. The same 64 public schools have competed for several years with no changes. Sedbergh, among other schools, have been on the waiting list to be included and this will not happen unless one of the schools fails to enter. Once forfeited, the right to compete would not be reinstated.

These events also provide publicity for the school quite apart from the high quality of enjoyment felt by team members.
