Malcolm Dix (FN 55-58) - We are very sorry to report that Malcolm died on Tuesday night (9th November, 2021) following a short illness. Malcolm was President of the St Beghian Society from 2006 to 2008 and has been a Committee member for many years. In addition, he has also been a longstanding and supportive member of the North East Branch of the Society and will certainly be missed by many people. We understand that there will be a small family only funeral service at Newcastle Crematorium. Attached here is a copy of a tribute to Malcolm in today’s Newcastle Evening Chronicle (11th Nov 2021).

Paul Watkins has advised that he will be giving a lecture next week on 29th October 2021 (via Zoom) which will be very much about the late Bill Frankland (FN 26-30). Details can be found at https://www.friendsofmillbank.org/.
