David (SH 67-72) and Eric (SH 67-73) Storey would like to invite any Old St. Beghians who are likely to be in the vicinity to their joint art exhibition at The Coningsby Gallery in London’s West End.

The exhibition dates are April 26th – 30th, and the private view, to which all Old St. Beghians are most welcome, will be on Tuesday, April 27th between 6.00 and 8.30 pm.

After leaving St. Bees David studied at Hornsey College of Art (now Middlesex University) and then spent several years working as an art director in the music industry, producing sleeve artwork for, among others, The Specials, The Housemartins, Iggy Pop, Robert Wyatt, Norman Cook, Sir Elton John and Phil Collins.

Eric studied English at Gonville & Caius College, Cambridge and then spent 20 years in marketing consultancy before renewing an interest in making art that had last been pursued, under Peter Broadhurst at St. Bees, in the early seventies. His work has recently been exhibited both at the Royal Academy’s Summer Show and the London Group’s 2009 exhibition at the Menier Gallery.
