The annual Scottish Branch Dinner was held at the Royal Scots Club on Abercromby Place, Edinburgh on Friday 6th November 2009.
In attendance were: David and Sue Parker, Don & Linda Williams, Philip & Helen Capes, Anthony & Joanna Wills, David & Fiona Lord, Terence Mayne, Elizabeth Cowan, Nick Hunter, John Graham, Gordon Mathison, Tim Mackay and Ross Parker.
Apologies were received from David Hopley, Rae Montgomery, Mike Craig and Harry Murray.
An excellent dinner was served in the Douglas Room. The Loyal Toast was followed by speeches from David Parker, Philip Capes and Don Williams with the company retiring to the lounge bar afterwards.
New faces to these dinners in Scotland are few and far between and a new and younger Branch Secretary who can inject new life into things may be the answer. Interested parties should contact the Club Secretary or myself.
